The dancing baby is back? Not so, says Universal.

Not again?

Does anyone feel this "copyright infringement" regarding music and the internets has just gone way too far? Apparently some woman who posted a video of her baby dancing to an extremely slight background tune, Prince's "Let's Go Crazy", found her video removed from youtube as a result of "copyright infringement".

Universal Music Group had Youtube administrators pull the video after they say the mother violated terms of use. But this mother fired back, alongside the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Methinks she's got a point--you have to blast those speakers of yours to really make out what tune is even playing.

For now, the video is back up on youtube, which you can watch here and see for yourself.

File Under: Mommies who document their babies' first steps--even if those are dance steps--are not safe from the big bad music woooof.
